Getting there, but slowly. Still not 100%, but too tired of sitting around doing nothing, so I loaded up on decongestant/cough suppressant and headed to class anyway. Thankfully, it was a small and relaxed class — drilling armbar from guard and then from mount to warm up. Then moved in to drilling an armbar from open guard, followed by the next armbar and then the next for their counters. Might have gotten some details hammered out there.
I had planned to sit out any rolling, but that would have left an odd number, and you know how easy it is to twist my arm. 🙂 So rolled the first four rounds, just light rolling. Minor breathing issues, but no big coughing fits, so that’s a good thing. Packed it in after that, though.
Starting Monday morning, I’ll be training twice a day again on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I need more drilling, and I like my free nights, so that leaves only mornings. So mornings it is.
