I was having a great dream this morning in which I was waking up on Sunday morning… only to finally realize, when my alarm went off, that it was in fact Monday. Crud, no sleeping in.
3 total this morning, so short warmup, then a set of round-robin rolling. Drilled taking the back to choke from s-mount. Then 2 more rounds of round-robin rolling.
Do you guys do sparring, then technique, then more sparring every time? Seems like a cool way to run a class.
Often, but not always. Depends on the class, who’s there, and what the instructor wants to do.
We often roll first as part of the warmup. We try not to in the Fundamentals classes at night in case we have new people — but then, when there are only experienced folks at the Fundamentals class, we often do it anyway.
